Creative Chaos Guide
A Helping Hand in the Creative World
I moved back to Port Lambton to give my son the same supportive, small-town upbringing that I value so much. I arrived with twenty years of experience in the creative industry, where I had the opportunity to help build brand stories and illustrations for names like Honda Canada, General Motors, and Imperial Oil.
I’ve spent my career collaborating on big projects for groups like SAIT University, Edo Japan, and Good Earth Coffee House. While I loved the challenge of helping these brands find their voice, my most meaningful moments weren’t spent in an office—they were spent in the messy, wonderful chaos of a Calgary skate park, helping twenty kids discover the joy of painting over two busy summers.
Learning Together
They say a “Jack of all trades is a master of none,” but the rest of that old saying is my favorite part: “…but oftentimes better than a master of one.”
I’ve always been a curious maker at heart. Whether I’m exploring the delicate details of watercolour, diving into a new illustration, or finding the ART in STEM, I’ve found that being a lifelong student makes me a better mentor.
I’m moving away from the digital screen to create an Industrial-Age Sanctuary right here in town—a tactile space where we can put down our phones, pick up a brush, and explore the intersection of art and science together.
