In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the camp staff to administer first aid and/or seek professional medical treatment for my child. I release the studio, its instructors, and property owners from any liability resulting from accidental injury, illness, or property damage sustained during camp hours.

As required by the Lambton-Kent County Health Unit, parents must be ready to provide one of the following in case of measles exposure: 1) Vaccination Records with 2 documented doses of a measles-containing vaccine 2) Evidence of Past Measles Infection or 3) Laboratory Evidence.

To ensure the safety of campers with severe, life-threatening allergies, I agree to send my child with strictly nut-free snacks and lunches. I understand that any food containing traces of tree nuts or peanuts will not be permitted in the studio space.

I give permission for my child to leave the premises of the Community Hall during activities related to Camp Programs, its lunch period, and break times (going to the river's picnic tables across from MJ's Restaurant). I understand that the staff and trained volunteers will provide supervision for the day camp participants during these activities.

Drop-Off Window: Doors open exactly 15 minutes prior to class start times (8:45 AM for morning sessions / 12:45 PM for afternoon sessions).

Late Pick-Up Fee: Pick-up windows close exactly 15 minutes after class ends. Late pick-ups beyond this buffer window are subject to a $1.00 per minute fee to cover staff overtime tracking.

Cancellations made up to 14 days before the camp start date will receive a full refund minus a 10% administration processing fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of camp are non-refundable but can be transferred to another child or future workshop credit if space allows.

I understand that camp activities involve professional-grade art supplies, including paints, inks, dyes, and clays that may stain clothing, footwear, and personal items. While the studio provides aprons/smocks, The Art Room is not responsible for any damaged or permanently stained clothing. Parents are strongly advised to dress children in "mess-friendly" clothes.
