Legal Entity Disclosure: “The Art Room” and “STEAM Labs” are trade names for Nicole Morrison Design, a registered business in the Province of Ontario. Please note that Nicole Morrison Design is in the process of transitioning to a Limited Liability Company (LLC) under the name “The Art Room.” All existing contracts, registrations, and policies remain fully binding during this organizational change.

We collect only the information necessary to ensure a safe, supportive, and creative experience for your child.
- Student Information: Name, age, date of birth, and gender/pronouns.
- Health & Safety: Allergies, medical needs, and bathroom independence status.
- Support & Regulation: Notes regarding neurodiversity (e.g., ASD, ADHD) or sensory preferences to aid in nervous system regulation while at the studio.
- Parent/Guardian Information: Names, emergency contact details, and email addresses for registration and billing.
3. How We Use This Information
Your data is used strictly for camp administration and safety:
- To manage class rosters and team assignments.
- To provide tailored support for students who benefit from regulation strategies.
- To communicate important camp updates and 24-hour payment reminders.
- To contact you in the event of an emergency.
4. Consent and Media
We only collect information with your express consent, typically provided during the LatePoint or Contact Form 7 registration process.
- Media Waiver: You may choose to opt-in or opt-out of photography. We never use identifiable photos of children (no faces) without explicit permission.
- Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent at any time, though this may impact our ability to provide services to your child.
5. Data Security and Retention
As a small studio, we take security seriously:
- Access: Only the lead instructor (Nicole Morrison) and designated adult leads have access to sensitive health or regulation notes.
- Storage: Digital data is stored via secure, encrypted platforms.
- Retention: We retain personal information only as long as necessary for camp operations or as required by Ontario law (e.g., for tax purposes).
6. Business Transition Disclosure
In the event that Nicole Morrison Design incorporates as The Art Room LLC, your records will be transferred to the new entity under the same privacy protections outlined here.
